We are about a 20 min. drive from downtown Charlottesville in Albemarle County in a little area called Stony Point. We are about a 1.5 hour drive from downtown Richmond, VA.
Our farm is private and our home, so the only part of the farm that is open to the public is our self-serve Flower Stand and U-Pick field on select days and times. Please visit the links to those pages for those hours.
Are you open to the public so we can see the flower fields?
Only our U-pick field (June-October) and self-serve flower stand (March-October) are open to the public. Please visit those pages for current hours.
We do not allow customers into our greenhouse or to wander our production fields for your safety and the health of the plants. We are a working mini-farm and this is also our private home. We love opening our property up for you to enjoy our hard work, but we ask that you respect our need for privacy as well.
Can we take family photos on the farm?
Yes! Sarah Davis, owner of Foothills Flower Farm, has worked as a wedding and portrait photographer for over 15 years. You may see her work on both our farm and her photography instagram pages.
We only allow photo sessions on our farm from June-October. Most of the field doesn’t get planted until April, so the fields are not full enough until June.
We charge $195/hour, and you can schedule by emailing Sarah foothillsflowerva@gmail.com

How can I buy your flowers?
A guaranteed way to receive our flowers is through our spring, summer, or fall bouquet subscription services. We offer farm pick up for bouquets and we have 2 drop off locations in Charlottesville city at Poppy Pointe and DarlingxDashing Boutique.
We also offer single bouquets for pick up throughout the week at our little white flower stand.
We open our flower stand during most Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings throughout our growing season.
We sell our medium size bouquets at Cou Cou Rachou bakery Thursday afternoons-Sundays March-October.

We would love to help you with flowers for your next event. Our bulk buckets are a great option for someone looking for fresh local blooms but wanting to do the arranging yourself. Do you offer private or school tours?
We do not for the 2025 season. However, we do offer on-farm design workshops, seed starting classes, and other hands-on activities! Details on our website.
