a request I couldn't refuse...
Typically after we shoot a wedding, we get a sneak peek of the images from that wedding up on our blog and our facebook page within a day or two. Everyone wants to see them right away and we love that most of our clients are able to relive some of the whirlwind of their wedding day very quickly after the wedding and even sometimes on their honeymoon! Jill and John are no exception. We were able to post images from their wedding and photo booth up here the day after their wedding. We even got an email from them on their honeymoon letting us know how excited they were to see them (which we absolutely love hearing!). Well, they're back from their honeymoon now and are next in line to have their pictures edited and presented online. Typically we don't hear too much from the bride and groom in the few weeks between their wedding and when their pictures are ready, but Jill and John are thankfully an exception to that rule! We cracked up when we got this email today from Jill:
Hi Peter,
Every day, I sit here and think, I love the pictures from my wedding. And then I go to the blog or facebook and look at them again. And then every day, I think to myself, I can't wait to see more! I love these pictures! And then, every day, I think, I know they won't be done for a few more weeks. That's not a lot of time. Leave Peter and Sarah alone.
So, due to the relentless nagging of the inner-five-year-old, I am sending you a e-mail to say, I can't wait to see the rest of our pictures!!!!!
Jill
A few minutes later, we got yet another email from John!
She says at least once a day, “John I LOVE the pictures, I can’t wait to see them!!!”
Thanks for making my wife so happy J
Those two emails completely made my day! And since these two are some of the nicest people in the world, I have decided to post just a few more images from their awesome New Year's Eve wedding! Jill, I hope these will hold you over for a few more days! :)
We typically try to do all of our bridal party shots and portraits outside in natural light, but since the wedding didn't start until 7:00 and it was about 25 degrees outside, we opted to stay indoors! Thankfully, the country club had a great room for portraits and as you can tell, we had a great time. This was seriously a fun wedding party!
This was one of the most dramatic bouquet tosses I have ever witnessed. You might just see some more from this amazing catch later, so stay tuned...
