Our farm fresh bouquets this spring includes 18-28 stems of farmer’s choice flowers delivered directly to your doorstep, harvested straight from our farm in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Bouquets during the month of April may include (but are not limited to): Novelty daffodils, double tulips, and ranunculus. In May, bouquets shift to ranunculus and may include garden roses and more!
Bouquets can be ordered by selecting a week from the dropdown menu. We ship flowers between Tuesday & Thursday of the week you choose.
SHIPPING: Orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air for overnight delivery. We process shipments from Tuesday to Thursday.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Farmer’s Choice flowers means we select flowers based on availability (what is blooming in our field) so please refrain from sending special requests via email. You’re welcome to add a note at checkout, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before ordering, please check the weather in your area. If you are experiencing cold winter weather, please wait to order until conditions are warmer.
Remember farm fresh flowers are perishable products so it is important that you select a date where you will be home when your flowers arrive. We are not responsible for flowers that have died due to neglect. That includes not bringing them in upon arrival. If you are sending flowers as a gift, we advise making sure the recipient will be home and signing up for text or email alerts with UPS so you can notify your recipient the moment the flowers arrive! Also double check that you are entering the correct address for yourself or recipient. Products are non-refundable for orders that were shipped to an incorrect address provided by purchaser. We ship only the freshest flowers and alway overnight, so they arrive as fast as possible allowing you to get them quickly into water to give you the maximum vase life possible.
EXPECTED VASE LIFE:
Tulips: 4-7 days, Daffodils: 3-7 days, Ranunculus: 4-8 days, Roses: 3-5 days
Note: We cannot ship to California, Alaska or Hawaii.
What to expect upon arrival:
Most flowers arrive in tight buds which helps to protect their petals during transport. We always include a couple extra flowers in each order in case some blooms get damaged in transport. Allow 12 hours for your flowers to hydrate before arranging. They will quickly begin to open up their many petals once in your vase.
Important Steps for Making Your Flowers Last:
Sterilize your vase before every use as bacteria and fungus in your vase are the main reasons for flowers declining.
Give your flower stems a fresh cut at an angle before placing in your vase of water.
Give them space to open up, so place them in several vases.
Change vase water every 2 days and definitely top off the vase water daily. These flowers drink a lot of water!
Add flower food (optional).
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
